Sweet story of the day: Noah was telling me about his lunch times yesterday in detail. I knew what he was getting at. I asked him," Are you telling me these times so I can eat lunch with you?" He said ,"YUP!". He told me that I may want to find out Marcus' lunch time too because Marcus will want me to eat lunch with him! Ha! Ha! So sweet that Noah has no idea that Marcus would freak if I showed up for lunch. Marcus did confirm no lunch dates in Middle School! I will work on it....Look for a future lunch date post!!!
Enjoy this sweet little boy snuggled in bed! This is what I came home too....life is good!

First Day of School-Middle Schoolers
Oh, these two.....these two woke up on time and on as good as a mood as Tweens can be in. I was able to snap a quick photo in which they are clearly excited! The day started off with a 15 minute late bus! James and I were standing outside waiting for the bus with them, thank goodness! No, we were not at the bus stop like crazies! Kristen's day was good except for the mile they had to run in P.E. How rude(In my Michelle Tanner) voice)! Dobthey not know it was 105??? Marcus had a good day as well! He was greeted by a schedule change first thing and let's just say he was super tired and not happy about football practice that evening!!!! He thinks middle school has the best food, that's my BOY!!! This year will be interesting to say the least! I think big sister is a little too cool for 6th graders if you know what I mean. We had a long talk about not ignoring little brother....Ha!!! Let's just say she acknowledged Marcus today!!!!!
First day of School-First Grade
Despite all the drama of class changes, Noah had a wonderful day! He woke up to his alarm in a very good mood! I woke up early and went to grab the kids kolaches and donuts....a little treat for the first day!
James and I took Noah to school and right when we arrived we saw Noah's original teacher???? What? She was supposed to have been relocated! She gave us hope that they may bring her back. Again, only I would have to endure this confusion. I was so happy to hear about Noah's day when he got home. He told me the usual....who got in trouble and who went to the office. Yes, a child did go to the office! Enjoy this picture of Noah in matching clothes, trust me that it won't last long! I am good about getting his clothes ready for about a week then he is on his own. It is sooo cute!

WOW!!!!
So, Let me start of by saying that as you get to know me the most random things ALWAYS happen to me. I am talking from bad service to things breaking randomly. If it is going to happen I am the victim. You will get it later on in this post. Now on to the past couple of days....
Yesterday we had back to school night 2 in middle school and one in Elementary...WHOA!! Kristen went with her mom to back to school and picked up her new cheer uniform......she looks absolutely beautiful. I can say that because I am non biased, I did not give birth to her...HA! I did stare at the picture about 100 times. Nothing major at BTS, she is now in 7th grade. She has this MS thing all down. I told her she needs to watch after her brother. This will be the first time they have been in the same school since Pre-K/K...WOW! Marcus quickly reminded me that I told him that same thing last year about him watching over Noah.
James and I both went with Marcus. We picked up his schedule and showed him where all his classes were. It was funny because he did not really get how to find his classes (neither did James). I had to explain that is was like looking for a house, all the "House" numbers were on the doors. This was just crazy, I remember my MS times so vividly. I met all of my lifelong friends here!! We spoke to the principal about getting M into advance math. I totally freaked when she mentioned if he did advance math now his 8th grade math would be considered a HS credit. WHAT??? HS?? It is crazy how my sweet little boy is all grown up. I have realized that I need to embrace these moments because time slips away. I did tell Marcus that I was going to get a picture of him getting on the bus, he seemed mortified. I told him I have one every year that he rode a bus. We compromised for the yearly pictures with backpacks before they leave to school.
Noah's BTS was packed. We saw lots of new faces due to some boundary changes. Noah got the teacher his Kinder teacher recommended. I told his K teacher to please give us someone just as sweet as her for my baby under the condition that I like her too...HA! She was just sweet as ever! Noah took her a back to school gift. I think it is a great idea to warm up the teacher :)! I just get a basket filled with teacher's goodies. I can't believe he will be all alone while his brother and sister are in MS. I hope his relationship with Marcus does not change. They are pretty close considering the age difference.
Now, for the drama.....Today I received a call from the asst. principal telling me that Noah would no longer be in the sweet, recommended teachers class because she has been moved. WHAT? I lost it!!! Thank goodness I was notified 5 minutes prior by a neighbor which in turn I called the K teacher and got another recommendation. In turn I told the asst. principal where my son was going to go. I just could not believe it, poor Noah had been practicing all night how to pronounce his new teacher's name.
We will survive and eventually I will get over it. I just hope he has a place set in his new class on Monday. After some last minute tax free shopping I am ready to turn in. We bought Noah some new shoes and each place we went to his shoes were $10 less. Started at $60, $49 then $39....SOLD!!! Proves the point to shop around!! Pictures to come!!

Wanna be Blogger
Well, the time has come......I am going to officially BLOG (I am such a fan)! I have noticed since I have started following blogs that most bloggers are new moms with small children. I understand this, babies are so cute and so fun to watch grow up but I can't relate anymore. I am a 32 year old mom with 3 children, ages 12, 11 and 6. While I think they are precious and I love them dearly life is not play dates and dress up anymore.......IT IS CRAZY!!! My days consist of a 9 hour work days, dinner, 2.5 hours of sports practice, baths, school etc.... Follow me on my journey into the tween years as I embrace the new challenge! I have left you with a few photos to get to know us! *Back to school night is tomorrow.......so EXCITED!!!
